This is a high quality product. Pulls in a lot of stations, best on the FM side. Has antenna that moves around and it is easy to carry. Can work with batteries or plug it in to save on battery power. The NOAA weather channels are a plus. Would be a good radio to use during a storm since you can use batteries during a storm. Has flashlight and earphone jack. Easy to operate, not digital so you just turn a dial to the station you want. Easy to turn off and on. Recommended.

The radio is easy to use. Fm and weather stations come in 5x5. Am stations are more difficult to tune even with the antenna. Radio feels more substantial with D cell batteries inserted.

I needed and wanted to get a small for so long and kept waiting. Then this portable AM/FM radio with a NOAA weather band for emergencies came up and seemed pretty decent.

After having it for awhile I can now say this radio fit the bill. It is very simple to use and works just as good as I could have wished. It definitely works as advertised and therefore is highly recommended!

This was my go to camping radio. It picked up the best signal in our state forest and has a good little speaker inside it. I kept it on day and night. We used batteries and it lasted all weekend. Lightweight, durable. The light on the side is a nice feature. I mean, we had a ton of lanterns but I turned the light on with it sitting on the food table for nighttime eating near the condiments. Just a solid radio. No complaints.

We recently had tornado strike three miles from our home and it took out a major electrical generating station, so we were left without power for the duration of the storm and for 8 hours after. We wanted to track what was going on, but no television reception and minimal updates available on our smartphones. But we have a C&W station in our town which has always been to gold standard for storm chasing and weather spotters scattered throughout the area, phoning in their observations. But we could not pull them up on our cell phones so we realized how important old school technology is, at times like this.

When I saw this radio pop up in my Amazon Vine queue, I immediately jumped on it since I was going to look for something at Best Buy or on Amazon. I am glad I got this. The AM and FM reception is very good. I like the fact that there is an led light indicator which comes on when you are close to a receivable station. And there is a small fine tuning knob in the center of the major tuning knob, which allows you to really dial in the strongest part of the signal after you locate it generally with the large knob.

I don't even have to extend the antenna for good reception. So this radio does exactly what I needed for power outage information access. The sound from the speaker is not very high quality but for spoken voice it is perfectly adequate for my purposes. I doubt I will listen to music on this anyway. It has an aux in jack for plugging your phone into the box and it has a headphone jack for listening on earbuds.

Solidly built and of fairly high finish quality. And it is small and light weight to easily toss into a briefcase or overnight bag. I did not try to dial in the weather alert band on this so I can't attest to its function. Same with the shortwave band on the dials.

Since we live in tornado alley, I'd been wanting to get a weather radio for quite some time but never remembered this when I was in a store or shopping online. This does a very good job, even on batteries while in the master bedroom closet, and it picked up two regional weather stations easily and quickly.

This radio uses three D batteries, but you can plug it in as long as the power hasn't gone out. It also has a flashlight, a feature I like very much because it's one less thing to grab on my way to the closet. It's a good bargain at the price.

I wish I had had this sooner so I could have ridden out the storms with more confidence. I'm partially deaf, but I can hear this radio when I turn it all the way up. During a tornado warning, neighbors don't care about that. The dog doesn't like it, but luckily we don't stay in the closet too long.

This is a must if you live in an area where there are frequent tornadoes, and these days tornadoes aren't staying in tornado alley but are venturing into states where they haven't happened in several decades. You can't be too prepared for bad weather. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to keep up during a bad storm.

I almost forgot to mention that this radio also picks up AM and FM stations very well, even in the closet. I got it mainly for the weather features, but it's nice to have that choice. This is a very good product at a great price.

This little radio is perfect. The sound quality is wonderful and it more than plays loud enough. We have it set up in the barn so there’s always some lovely music playing for the horses! Definitely recommend this radio.

It looks and works fine, we have used it to get weather reports during storms when everything else failed. We have used it to listen to music when the TV is down in weather.

What I liked most about this radio is the clarity and portability. Functionally, it is very easy to learn to use. As with most AM signals, signal strength varies within the same room, repositing improves the signal. The built-in flashlight is a plus.
