Remember those transistor radios from Japan in the early sixties? They had a great size but a terrible sound. Well, here you have the same size but a fantastic sound. I love this little radio. It fits in your pocket. You can put it on your window ledge when you're eating breakfast and hear great music immediately. You don't have to subscribe to some overpriced service. It's right there - a real radio. The only problem I have is that it's hard to figure out how to set up memory for each station, the directions are very poorly written. So screw that, I just punch in the frequency numbers for the station and, voila immediate satisfaction. If someone can explain how to work the memory system. I would really appreciate it. But don't let that stop you from getting this radio, the one with the real antenna attached. You won't regret it.

Purchased this radio for a 90 year old friend that likes to listen to ball games. He will be listening to local FM stations. For a small radio it puts out BIG sound. I think he will find it easy to use.

Decent cheap radio
For a cheap radio it does exactly what it says on the tin.other radios couldnt get a signal in the washup area it was wanted.This one done the job Dont expect a high end product because it isnt.Its made in China and a cheap product but for the price its spot on..would I recommend..Yes

I use several of these in different rooms tuned to the same radio station as a poor man’s whole house music system. We run estate sales and tune the radios to shopping friendly background music during the sales to create a more fun and retail like environment. When done we just box them up and move on. Much easier and cheaper than streaming Wi-Fi and Bluetooth solutions for our use. Sometimes old tech fits the bill.
