I like to take my radio outside when I’m doing yard work, and pretty much everything I’m doing. It’s sturdy, has a great sound and is portable. It also has a flashlight on one end which is a bonus. I bought one for my daughter that lives in a heavily wooded area, works great.

I have a collection of failed portable radios: those radios that can’t play any stations. Finally I found a radio which can play those stations! I live in a rural location which makes it super hard to get stations.I am so relieved and happy that I have a great selections. I have not had much luck on the Shortwave bands but there is an easy antenna booster. This is a solid, well made radio. It has a plug so you can save battery life. I’m getting another for my daughter. If you are tired of dead air and need a good emergency radio get this one!

I was pleasantly surprised by the great reception and sound on this little radio. It gets good reception even in my basement. Well worth the money spent.

This Pronus transistor Radio is exactly what I wanted. The size is just right. I really live in the woods, and not too close to FM and AM towers. Regardless, the range is fantastic. That also includes the SW bands. I am very happy with the quality and effectiveness of this radio. I definitely suggest it!
