Now this radio starts making loud static,.........so have to replace the batteries which is once a month. Yes I use NEW Duracell or Energizer batteries. Only use it a couple times during the night on an AM station. Bought it because of the good reviews; NOT worth it!

The PRUNUS J-777 is a very is a good compact pocket radio nice to hold and no sharp edges and wow very impressed by the speaker sound even though this is a small radio. So yes if you want a small pocket radio when you're on the go I recommend PRUNUS J-777 a little white jewel.

Use this radio everyday at work and on my weekend long walks. Sound quality is good and it is inexpensive for the quality. Tuning is analog which isn’t a problem for me, reminds me of the old transistors radio I used as a kid.
