This is a great quality wood kit, the wood pieces are wonderful and of really great quality. Each piece is cut to perfection and comes out easily when forced very gently out of the board. The included instructions are wonderful. the pictures are great visuals and the wording is very clear and easily understood. This would be great for advanced kids, teens and adults as well. The radio pieces fit in perfectly in their directed places and they function great as well. I am highly impressed with this kit and recommend it for all of those that love models, puzzles, and building as this is a form of all of them in one kit! Great value!

The look on my kids faces when this played music was great. It was easy to build. Don’t forget to connect the speaker to the board before locking the board into place.

I set the kids up with this, even got them a screw driver (turned out it didn't need one at all) It took them about an hour to put this together. Some of that was them putting it together with a part upside down and having to take it apart to fix it.
The kids got agitated with the battery pack having the cable on the wrong side when looking at the instructions. So they had to decide on a plan to path the wires. Once they agreed on one it was all good.
The only other issue was they noticed the tuner knob is reversed. So just know if you turn it its gong reverse to what the wood label says.
When it was done they were so happy and loved it. So much they had to create a custody play as to who gets it when.
I thought they would have fun with it but they thought it was the coolest thing when they found a radio station.
We do robotics and computer building so they are exposed to lots of cooler things. I was a little shocked at how much they loved it.
I was also happy this didn't have those really small screws that most kits like this have.
The kids rated this 10/10.
I'm happy it went together with out adult help. Worked when it was done without any issues .
We just needed to add 3 AA batteries.

An easy put together radio kit. It has AM or FM. Most of the kit is wood except for the working parts. No sharp edges for cutting your skin. A fun kit for boys or girls. It uses 2 AA batteries, not included, for power.
