In February 2021, I experienced a four day power blackout in north Texas after a winter storm swept across the USA. Fortunately, I was fully prepared and was only slightly inconvenienced by the blackout. As a prepper in an apartment, I had lights, cooking, and heat, even with outside temps near zero. While I keep a (battery-solar-crank-powered) radio on hand, I decided to purchase two of these inexpensive radios for backup to be used in case of emergencies or disasters. One will remain in the apartment. The other will travel with me in my backpack while hiking/camping. I was surprised by their great reception in all bands- AM, FM, & Weather Band. Even distant/weaker radio stations are faint but still without static. The audio is definitely loud and clear. The size is compact. The case is plastic and I suppose, easily broken if mishandled and dropped. They are not waterproof. I sealed them in plastic bags for protection, keeping the batteries separate from the radios. I don't understand the several negative reviews on these radios. What do they expect for under $10? I have no complaints and only praise for the two radios I received. They are great, inexpensive prepper gear and work perfectly.

Comes in clear, easy to tune, and has weather channel feature. Great little radio to take along with you in the outdoors camping or fishing.

Changed my mind about this radio. Thought it wasn’t as good as another weather radio I have. I can receive four weather stations in both radios, but this one does it better. Just got the radio so I can”t tell about battery life.

Used this during the winter storm. Kept us informed and entertained for the week.

Tried it out. It's got better than average receive and good sound. I got it for my grandson to put in his fishing gear because of its size ,weight and it's ability to receive the NOAA weather bands. Well worth ten bucks. I'm serious !

This Little Radio has Surprising Great Clarity and Sound, You have to just find where in your room, Put It . I LOVE IT !!! They finally Make such a Great Sounding Radio, for it's size. Surprisingly Great. Sincerely, Darrel

Le seul moins, serait le plastique un peu « cheap », mais en fait non, car je fais toujours une comparaison entre le prix et la qualité... Faut savoir ce qu’on veut !Les plus;témoin de piles faibles, ON/OFF sans dérégler le volume, bonne réception, réglage fin de la réception aisé (quasiment pas de jeu entre l’aiguille et la molette).
