I bought for my dad who's 97 who is blind and has some hearing loss. It reminded me of a very old fashioned radio he had when we were kids . My dad listens to the radio all day and night. This radio is perfectly perfect!! My dad says it's so loud and clear and he can hear all his programs so clearly. I highly recommend.

Sounds nice for the price range. The cabinet is made of resin with faux wood grain. Very 1970s/80s. Solid and sturdy. Nice bass range. The entire unit is well made plastic resin. The retro look for $60.00 bucks. The sound is loud and steady when turned up. I am almost 60 years old. This type of radio was common place in 1960s. We listened to a lot of radio in those days. I still do. I have a ball game on the radio now. Good and clear. Very John Kennedy/Lyndon Johnson era. This is a great affordable radio for retro lovers. Mine will stay plugged in on a table. For those who like mobility, it has built batteries for charging, or you can use 2 D batteries if you prefer. I hope it lasts! Grundig it is not, but ok at this price point. We shall see.

I got this to fit in with the steampunk decour in my home. Honestly, I haven't tried the AM / Shortwave or Bluetooth functionality because I only use the FM radio. The reception has been exceptional. I live in the center of a large city and do not know if the radio will perform as well in rural areas. I have used it every day since it arrived and it hasn't failed me yet. It has a built in rechargeable battery, but can be directly plugged into AC power source. It is not constructed with real wood but it has a sturdy feel to it and the knobs don't feel like they will break off. I especially like the way the tuning dial lights up. I will post a photo shortly. I am very pleased with this item.

This radio is great. Has a lot of attachments and they provide some cords for you. The colors of the radio are on par and the sound is eh. It leaves a little to be desired, but I can't complain to much. Radio works well and no issues with connections.

Good value for money.
In my opinion, it's very good value for money. ( I have had it for 2 days).
Firstly, FM radio is mostly very clear sound (even with aerial down). It is no problem, easy to tune into stations.
AM sound quality, at least for me, it's pretty low. Sounds muffled and often can hear static more than the station, still easy to tune into though.
SW sound quality is similar to AM. However, since SW travels long distances, I find it pretty cool to be to be able tune into foreign radio (Chinese, Spanish, Russian, A
merican and French so far).
Bluetooth works very well, just like a normal Bluetooth speaker.
I haven't tried Voice recording or AUX but I'd imagine they work well too.
It looks magnificent, I think it the best looking radio I ever had.
I use it wirelessly and haven't used AC power yet.
I have 3 other radios in the house. This one has better sounds quality, looks better and has more options than any of them.
